Truck obsession

Anyone who knows Jaden can agree that he is totally obsessed with trucks. That is all he really wants to play with. Someone asked me one day if he had OCD. I laughed and told them no, but now I am starting to wonder.

I came in the room and found that he had lined all of his cars and trucks up all facing the same way. No biggy, right? Until...
I came around the corner a day later and found them lined up by category  on the stairs. And then...
The next day they had all made it up the stairs and if you look really close you can see that they are all tipped on their side because they are SLEEPING. -Jaden tells me.
And occasionally he thinks it is funny to decorate his trucks with bread dough or play dough. So much fun!

Pretty necklace

So one day Jaden came running up to me and said "Look, mom, I have pretty necklace." It was hilarious. He went running around the room as though it was a cape or something. This will be great black mail some day.

Picture Time

I decided to join everyone else in creating a blog. So here we go. This is our little family as it exists today. 

Party time

We threw a surprise part for Grandma Knight. We had such a fun day playing out in the sun with all of the cousins.

Shortly after this picture all of the grandkids decided to put their swimming suits on to play in the water. Well it was obvious that Jaden didn't want to get left out. I turned around and there he was with his drawers dropped to his ankels.  Those were the days...

Winter in Logan

This was our first winter in Logan and wow! Look at all of this snow. I am not so sure that I am ready for winter yet. This 6 ft snow drift was in our backyard. It sure was fun to play on though.

Halloween 2007

Check us out! We had fun dressing up and taking Jaden around trick-or-treating. He was the cutest little monkey although he hated wearing the costume. We prepped Jaden and taught him what the good kind of candy looked like and so we ended up with quite the stash. Doesn't Dave look hot?

We're back

That's right. We had so much fun the first time that we decided to go back again about 7 months later. This time we took some of Dave's family with us. We had so much fun!!

We got to watch a helicopter fly in and rescue a girl that had broken her leg on the swing down at Mooney Falls.
This is everyone who survived the trip. We still can't believe that we got Dave's mom down there with us. Nobody could keep up with her on the ten mile hike. This is my favorite waterfall. You can hike up on top of it and explore for hours.
This is still part of Navajo falls. I had a blast climbing all over the waterfall. I didn't know at the time that I was pregnant with Kian.
