Goodbye Tucson, Hello Logan

Well we had a lot of fun while we were living in Tucson but it was time to say goodbye. After living there for a while we decided we were tired of seeing bugs like this one.

We also learned that we missed this green stuff called grass. So we moved to a house in Logan that has plenty of it. Jaden has to help out when Dave gets too tired.
We also missed the changes in seasons.
The one thing we will miss about Tucson is our friends. 

Paradise in AZ?

If you are looking for an amazing place to visit that doesn't cost too much, this is the place. One minor detail- it requires a 10 mile hike to get there. Or you can take the helicopter if you like. It is well worth the effort to visit here at least once in your lifetime. Please let me know if you are interested in going there. I would love to help you get there. It's amazing!!!

Yes that is me, don't be deceived though. The water isn't as warm as it may look. It does have the beautiful turquoise color though.

San Carlos, MX

So we learned that there is a benefit to living way down south and that is beautiful beaches.  We went with some friends on  a 6 hour drive to San Carlos, Mexico. It is beautiful there. One morning we had some dolphins come swim up next to us. 

We learned that the fun doesn't have to end when you have kids.... like everyone told us. We took Jaden out snorkeling with us. He loved it and even took his naps out on the water. 
This kid has been fearless since the day he was born. 

Jaden's 1st B-Day

My little boy turned one and had the coolest birthday party that he will probably ever get. Our good friends had these huge slides and let us borrow them for the party. We probably had around 50 people show up. It's too bad he won't even remember.

Krishelle's wedding

That's right. My little sis got married on one very, very hot summer day in St George. Mike is perfect for her and a great addition to our family.

Silly J-Bug

Jaden's nickname was J-Bug until one day he turned and said "Mom, I not Bug" Now he really gets after us if we call him Jaden Bug. 

I don't know how he manages to find the dirtiest things to play in. 

He loves monster trucks and sings us his monster truck song every day and the top of his lungs.

The Fun Begins

We never knew how much fun being parents could be. We love it! There is definitely never a dull moment. I didn't know how many diapers a baby required. I really think that Jaden would wait until we pulled his diaper down to play a joke on us because every time we did he would pee. We would even wait a couple of minutes and finally get brave enough to change his diaper and then Ha, Ha, he would get us again. I'll never forget the first time that Dave got sprayed on while changing his diaper. He jumped and gave this look that shouts "You've got to be kidding me." It was hilarious. 

I think it was obvious who was feeding him this time. Mommy never makes this big of a mess.
