Loves me? or Loves me not?

Loves me? or Loves me not? This is the question that I need your help answering. This year for Christmas, David gave me an air filter for my vacuum.  (Oh, I mean an odor eliminating vacuum filter- I better give you all of the details to be fair to David)  So what do you think? Does he love me?

VOTE BEFORE READING ON.

Shortly after he bought this for me he saw the JCPenny Dog House movie clip that has been e-mailed around. He forwarded it to me one day and that's when I knew that he must already be putting himself in the dog house. Anyway, our 6th Year Wedding Anniversary is on Feb. 14th this year and so I think it's a fitting time for this Valentine season.

Alright, so here is the full story. Every holiday or special occasion I usually start hearing complaining about two weeks prior and up to the night before the special event. His usual suggestion is "Wouldn't you rather be able to pick out something that you really like, rather than have me guess?" I always tell him that it's the thought that counts not the gift.

Well this Christmas was different. I didn't hear any of the usual complaining and he walked into a store and really put a lot of thought and actually tried to find something that I need. He honestly and sincerely thought he picked out a great gift. So does he love me? I say YES! It meant a lot to me that he would take a little time and really try to think of something rather than getting the standard gift of Blue Roses or whatever.  (Some of you may not know the blue roses story you can ask me for details if you like.)

Love you babe, sorry I had to pick on you a little:)

Merry Christmas

Dear Family and Friends,

Sorry we got a little strapped for time this year and didn't get cards out in time, but we wanted to send you a little update on our family.

David just celebrated his 30th Birthday and is looking as good as ever. He is staying very busy with his new company Cebola Medical Group. They are now doing health care recruiting. He has a new hobby, flying remote airplanes and spends all of his spare time playing with his two little boys. He is such a wonderful father and husband, and I mean that. We are so lucky to have him!

I have been busy being a mom to the best two little boys in the world and cutting/coloring hair on the side. I got the chance this year to be in charge of our Ward Christmas Program this year and so between that and my church calling I have been keeping pretty busy.

Jaden is now 3 years old and quite a little jabber mouth. He loves to ask questions and plays with his trucks/tractors all day long. His favorite movie is the tractor show which he could watch over and over. When we go to visit papa he has to bring his Farmin Hat. He is still working on extending his vocabulary but in the meantime he still calls (sheets- sheeps) and the movie (Madagascar- Out-of-gas-car) and many more. We don't correct him because we get a kick out of it and he isn't going to be little forever. He loves having his new baby brother here. I can't tell you how much he LOVES Kian. He gives him hugs and kisses over and over again every day. I am so grateful for that because I was really worried about how they were going to get along. He is so much fun and there is never a dull moment when he is around.

Kian was born on June 3rd and is the baby that I always dreamed about having. He is SO HAPPY and hands out tons of smiles to everyone. His big accomplishment for now is sitting up and he likes to show off his new big boy teeth. We are so glad that he is here to join our little family.

We feel so blessed to have two wonderful little boys. We never imagined how much joy they could bring into our lives. We are also SO GRATEFUL for you, our family and friends. We love hearing from you and getting updates on you and your families. Have a Merry Christmas!

Love, The Knights

David's 30th birthday

Happy 30th Birthday David! We had a great time celebrating his birthday this year. Our friend Ollie made this amazing cake. We forgot our camera at the Schaefer's house. I am sure they are pretty sad that they don't get their pictures posted too. Thanks to everyone that helped out and came to have a good time with us. Here are some pics of the night.
You can thank me later for not listing your names by your pictures.

Daddy's in charge

This is what happens when daddy is in charge. I asked him to help me out by feeding Kian his food and ten minutes later he looks like this. It took me three times longer to clean him up than if I would've done it myself. Kian sure had a fun time though.

Randomness...

Look how big my little Kian Tanner boy is getting. He is such a cheeser!

Here's the Christensen fam out to eat at Wingers over Thanksgiving break.
Grandma and Grandpa Knight were very entertaining to watch playing boxing on their new Wii.
Kian and Jaden in their little hoody towels.
The grandkids were having fun lining up like a choo choo train and running around Grandma's house. They had so much fun on Thanksgiving weekend.
Jaden loves to hide under this chair. He says it's his little hut.

Here are all of the grandkids on the Christensen side of the family. They were not enjoying picture time can you tell? This is Jaden playing on the big dirt hill in our backyard. He loves playing with the neighbors.

Halloween 2008

We've had a few requests to post our halloween pictures so here you go. We had so much fun this year and the weather was perfect.

Here is Kian, our little dragon.
And Jaden had so much fun being a pirate all day long.

I hope our friends, the Schaefers are ok with us posting their pictures but their costumes were hilarious so I wanted to share them with you. Summer was smurfette and Mike was a troll.
Here is Jaden with some of his buddies.

Kian 5 months

That's right. My little Tanner boy is almost 5 months old already. His latest tricks are grabbing his toes and uh.. I guess that's it. Well I guess he knows how to stick everything in his mouth. I don't know how much of a trick that is though. I can't believe how fast time flies by.
